ICF CEO John Wasson Receives First Wash100 Award
ICF CEO John Wasson has received his first Wash100 award from Executive Mosaic for his leadership in the government contracting industry.
Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic, honored Wasson for helping ICF secure valuable contracts and acquisitions, driving the company's growth and revenue.
“This transaction is aligned with our strategy to complement organic growth with acquisitions that strengthen ICF’s position in key growth areas. IT modernization and cloud together is estimated to be approximately a $21 billion federal market and one in which ICF already has gained traction through organic expansion," Wasson said.
In July 2019, ICF landed a three-year, $330M Navy contract to provide cybersecurity support to the Navy Information Warfare Center Pacific. The indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery deal would have an $802M total value if all options are exercised.
ICF also entered a lease agreement for a new headquarters building in Reston, Virginia. It is expected to be completed in late 2022.
Wasson said he hopes the new building will foster innovation, creativity and collaboration in light of the company's 50th anniversary.
ICF is a management consulting company based in Fairfax, Virginia. The company provides technology services in fields such as aviation, climate, cybersecurity, education, energy, health and homeland security.
