Immediate IT Systems Visibility Critical to National Security, Says Dillahay

Paul Dillahay, president and CEO of defense technology provider NCI, said the immediate visibility of IT systems is a vital component of sustaining the state of the U.S.national security.

“In these times of rapidly evolving threat landscapes, the need for our customers to have immediate visibility of all current IT systems in one location is a critical part of ensuring continual operations for our nation’s defense mission,” he said.

Dillahay, a Potomac Officers Club member and a 2020 Wash100 winner, made the comment after NCI landed a two-year $89M contract from the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command to deliver IT Fit-Out services for the agency’s new Secure Admin Operating Facility at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

The deal indicates that the company will provide full IT and audiovisual engineering services to improve the newly built and advanced INSCOM headquarters equipped with visualization technology. 

Dillahay said the company will support the Army INSCOM mission of enabling timely decisions while working with various agencies to defend the nation. “We look forward to deploying a truly remarkable, new kind of modernized IT environment that will support the needs of the Army’s SAOF today, and tomorrow,” he said.

NCI will provide the Fort Belvoir facility with personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, supervision and non-personal services required to conduct IT and AV systems engineering, procurement, installation, testing and turnover. 

In addition, the company is a Commercial Solutions for Classified trusted solutions integrator, which is a National Security Agency program meant to provide cybersecurity services to help INSCOM in its support mission to the Army, joint forces and coalition commands, and the national intelligence community.
