Infosys Joins IBM’s Public Cloud Ecosystem Program

Infosys, a digital services provider and consultancy, has tapped IBM for public cloud support across its business enterprises.

The partnership will support Infosys customers across strictly regulated industries such as financial services, insurance and health care. Through the partnership, Infosys may offer Red Hat's software offerings through the IMB Public Cloud Ecosystem, IBM announced.

Bob Lord, the senior vice president of cognitive applications and ecosystems at IBM, said organizations need strong security as they migrate important workloads into the cloud environment.

As the first member of IBM's program, Infosys may leverage IBM's technical expertise to support its clients' cloud transfers, in addition to having access to advanced technologies.

IBM added that it will train and certify Infosys employees who work in the cloud practice.
