IronNet Launches Joint Offering for Enterprise Cybersecurity Posture Assessments

IronNet Cybersecurity has launched a joint offering with Unlimited Technology, Exero and DirectDefense to give large and small enterprise customers a better understanding of how they are holding up in terms of cybersecurity.

The Enterprise Security Program Review will help organizations define and enhance their cybersecurity postures across a number of important dimensions, according to Keith Alexander, founder and co-chief executive officer of IronNet.

In particular, the review offering will measure an organization’s infrastructure against cybersecurity controls set by the National Industry Standards and Technology, IronNet Cybersecurity said.

With ESPR, organizations can review their existing security controls and receive a risk exposure analysis. The offering also facilitates the implementation of individually tailored security solutions.

IronNet shares these responsibilities with its industry partners.

Managed security service provider DirectDefense is in charge of conducting information security assessments on client infrastructure, as well as testing the effectiveness of security controls and existing tools.

Exero performs health-based monitoring on all endpoint devices in a customer’s network, giving a clear visual of the trends and patterns regarding the endpoint behavior of a network in real time.

Unlimited Technology covers manpower needs and manages the procurement and rollout of services and technology. The company is also responsible for physical and logical infrastructure upgrades.

On its end, IronNet deploys a platform called Collective Defense that provides behavior-based analytics at the network level to detect anomalies. Collected threat data can then be shared by organizations anonymously for increased cyberattack visibility.

Alexander, a past Potomac Officers Club event speaker and Wash100 winner, said the recent SUNBURST attack was a wake-up call telling organizations to reinforce their defense strategies with real-time threat intelligence sharing and collaboration.
