Jacobs Lands $101M ITES-3S Task From Army
The U.S. Army has awarded Jacobs a $101M task order to provide information technology support services for critical networks. The five-year contract was awarded under the IT Enterprise Solutions – 3 Services contract vehicle.
The contract will support the Army Intelligence and Security Command's Ground Intelligence Support Activity and Enterprise Transport, Jacobs said Wednesday.
“This significant contract builds on our longstanding partnership with the U.S. Army and reinforces our commitment to the mission capability, capacity and readiness of our armed forces,” said Jennifer Richmond, vice president of advancing national security within Jacobs' critical missions solutions business unit.
Under the terms of the task order, Jacobs will maintain the availability of all hardware and software supporting both classified and unclassified networks. Jacobs will also maintain several critical networks supporting warfighters.
The company will provide a range of sustainment and technical services for the Army, Marine Corps, Special Operation Forces, National Guard Bureau and the NGB Civil Support Teams customers.
Richmond said that the mission requirements of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community have been evolving to keep up with growing threats to U.S. national security.
“At Jacobs, we're harnessing our unique blend of mission experience, digital capability and targeted innovation to advance digital modernization across our U.S. federal clients as we anticipate and meet the national security challenges of the future,” Richmond added.
ITS-3S is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that was created to advance the Army's Enterprise Infostructure transformation goals. The contract, which has a $12.1B ceiling, covers command, control, communications, computers and information management requirements.
