John West Named Tyto Athene Business Development and Strategy VP

Tyto Athene has appointed John West as vice president of business development and strategy.

West, a 4×24 member, will oversee Tyto’s business relationships and guide the company’s strategic vision. According to West, the company’s size and leadership put the organization in a position to adapt to changes in the market and make and implement decisions quickly.

The newly appointed VP has been working in the private industry for over three decades, Tyto Athene said Monday.

According to his LinkedIn profile, West has been with Tyto since January, starting with the company as a VP. Before working at Tyto, he was the VP of business development and strategy at Leidos for two years. He started his career in the private industry at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, holding various positions over three decades.

Tyto Athene is a Virginia-based IT company offering mission-focused digital transformation services. Its specialties include network modernization, hybrid cloud solutions delivery, enterprise IT and cybersecurity, and engineering services.
