Keith Gibson, Managing Partner at Runyara

Keith Gibson, a Potomac Officers Club member, is a managing partner at the Washington, D.C.-based Runyara, a HUBZone-certified, service-disabled, veteran-owned small business that offers enterprise solutions, professional services and operations management to the Department of State and the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center.

Gibson supports Runyara’s clients in securing federal contracts and provides acquisition strategies and guidance to customers. He holds a federal contract manager certification issued by the National Contract Management Association.

Gibson has been with Runyara since 2017. He is also the vice president of technology acquisition at NCMA’s Washington, D.C., chapter, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The managing partner has been working in the private industry since 2014. Before joining Runyara, he was an associate at the New York-based investment banking company Goldman Sachs from 2015 to 2017.

He was also an associate at the Wall Street Warfighters Foundation, an organization that helps service-disabled veterans find careers in the financial services sector. He worked with the organization from 2014 to 2015.

Before joining the private sector, Gibson was a contracting officer with the U.S. Air Force from 2003 to 2014.

In addition to his current career in the private industry, Gibson also spends time volunteering for organizations. He is a platoon member of The Mission Continues, which helps veterans adjust to life after military service.

He is also a coach at The Posse Foundation, a nonprofit organization that partners with U.S. colleges and universities for student scholarships and leadership training.

The Runyara managing partner holds a master’s degree in international finance from the American Military University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Mercy College.
