Lance Bendit Named VMware Public Sector Cloud CSO

VMware Public Sector Cloud has appointed Lance Bendit as its new chief strategy officer. Bendit brings over 20 years of experience in providing cloud and cybersecurity technology solutions to VMware.

He joined VMWare after working for over a year at Govplace as managing director of portfolio operations, G2Xchange reported Monday.

Bendit also served as a service delivery leader at Rackspace/Datapipe Government Solutions and managing director of client operations at InfoReliance.

In addition, he worked for the multi-billion-dollar Department of Homeland Security CDM DEFEND program, which provided over 60 federal agencies access to professional services and security products.
