Lee Canterbury, Senior Vice President and General Manager at DataPrime

Lee Canterbury is the senior vice president and general manager at DataPrime, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business located in Leesburg, Virginia, whose offerings include artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. Before joining his current employer, Canterbury served for three years as the VP of the defense and civilian sector at Science Applications International Corp. Previously, he had stints leading business development and growth strategy activities at Alethix, PowerTek, Customer Value Partners and General Dynamics Information Technology.

Canterbury also used to be the president and chief executive officer of Rolling Bay and a managing partner at Barling Bay. Canterbury had also worked for RGS Associates and the U.S. Secret Service’s Information Resources Management Division. Earlier in his career, he held the role of senior manager at Burke Consortium after serving as director of engineering for nuclear aircraft carrier construction and overhaul at Newport News Shipbuilding, where he spent nearly 15 years.

In 2002, Canterbury participated in Harvard Business School’s Executive Leadership Series program. At George Washington University, he obtained separate master’s degrees in information management and business administration. He earned bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and mathematics from West Virginia University.
