Leidos Adds Four Companies to Alliance Partner Network

Four new companies have joined the Leidos Alliance Partner Network, giving them access to the deep integration expertise of the defense company’s supplier base for improved innovation, program performance and efficiency.

Leidos has selected HP, Palo Alto Networks and Splunk as its new Technology Alliance Partners and added Dataiku to its list of Emerging Technology Partners.

The LAPN fosters a mutually beneficial and cooperative environment where companies can work together to enhance their competitiveness in government and commercial markets, Leidos said

Bob Gemmill, chief procurement officer at Leidos, believes that combining the company’s understanding of customer needs with Dataiku, HP, Palo Alto Networks and Splunk’s next-generation innovation will further the adoption of important new technologies.

In addition to technology alliance and emerging technology partners, Leidos enters into partnerships with corporate strategic members. Corporate Alliance Partners are defined as companies with strong technical capabilities and a well-established relationship with Leidos. Technology Alliance Partners are close Leidos allies with recognized expertise while Emerging Technology Partners are known associates with significant interest from the organization.

HP Federal President Todd Gustafson views the company’s inclusion in the LAPN as an opportunity to exhibit HP innovation and advance the development of new customer-focused solutions and technologies.

On the other hand, Nick Urick, vice president of Federal Sales for Palo Alto Networks, expressed appreciation for the partnership with Leidos, which he believes will further the company’s delivery of advanced cybersecurity solutions to joint customers.

Frank Dimina, Splunk's vice president for the public sector, said aligning with Leidos positions the company to advance its mission of removing data inefficiencies across the civil, defense, health and intelligence sectors.

According to Dataiku Chief Executive Officer Florian Douetteau, Leidos’ expertise can help the company address the need for artificial intelligence across the federal government.

Other companies within the LAPN include Dell, Amazon Web Services, McAfee, NetApp, Juniper Networks, Cisco, Red Hat, IBM, Databricks and Tanium.
