Leidos Secures $531M Air Combat Command ISR Operations Support Task

The U.S. Air Combat Command has awarded Reston, Virginia-based Leidos a potential five-year, $531 million task order to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.

Leidos will provide subject matter expertise and threat mitigation support for ISR activities. The company will also deliver a full range of intelligence support and operational services, which includes analysis and assessment, training, and other required support services. Work will be performed at over 25 locations within the continental U.S., Leidos said.

Gerry Fasano, president of Leidos’ defense group, said the company will bring over three decades of intelligence expertise to support the ACC’s ISR program. Fasano, who is also a Potomac Officers Club member and a 2021 Wash100 winner, shared that the intelligence support contract will give warfighters and decision-makers the capability to understand the environment and gain greater insights into strategic, operational and tactical elements on the battlefield. The Leidos executive said the ACC ISR program will ensure that servicemen will maintain air sovereignty during peacetime and provide air defenses during times of war.

The task order is a firm-fixed-price award that has a one-year base period and four one-year options. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center awarded the contract.

Leidos offers technology and engineering solutions and services to organizations in the defense, intelligence, civil and health care markets.
