Leidos Secures $649M Army Task for STAMP Program Support

The Army Contracting Command has awarded Leidos a $649M task order under the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract vehicle. Leidos will provide Program Manager Sensors – Aerial Intelligence in support of DHC-8 and King Air 300 aircraft, Leidos said Monday

“We are proud to support the SOCOM community with tactical ISR operations, system integration, and sustainment for commercial derivative aircraft for the Special Operations Command,” said Gerry Fasano, president of Leidos' defense group. Fasano is a Potomac Officers Club member and a 2020 Wash100 awardee. 

He added that Leidos' team is capable of and committed to supporting the Army's Special Operations Command Tactical Multi-Sensor Platforms program.

The deal includes a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods. 

Leidos will provide pilot services, airborne sensor operations, hub and spoke/excursion support, staffing, system training, logistics, aircraft equipment maintenance, configuration management and engineering support services. 

Work under the deal will be performed in various locations within the contiguous and non-contiguous United States. 

RS3 is a five-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract used by organizations conducting command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

According to the ACC website, the vehicle has a $37.3B spend ceiling. Its primary services areas include engineering; research, development, test and evaluation; logistics; acquisition and strategic planning; and education and training services.  

Leidos is a Virginia-based information technology and services company that provides engineering and science solutions and services to both commercial and government customers. 

The company serves clients in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil and health markets.
