Lockheed Martin Secures $483M Army Contract for Missile Production

Lockheed Martin announced that it has secured a follow-on production contract from the U.S. Navy to supply Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles and HELLFIRE missiles.

The contract is valued at $483 million and will support the procurement and production of the missiles for the U.S. Army, Navy and international customers, Lockheed Martin said.

The deal is part of a larger multiyear award initiated in March 2023, with a potential value of up to $4.5 billion through 2025. The contract also allows for flexibility in supplying the systems domestically and internationally, particularly given the anticipated growth in international demand for JAGM.

Joey Drake, program management director of multidomain missile systems at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, highlighted the Army’s continued trust in JAGM and HELLFIRE for worldwide defense readiness and stressed the company’s commitment to providing procurement and production support for both systems.

JAGM and HELLFIRE development will take place in Orlando, Florida, with manufacturing spread across facilities in Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania and Alabama.
