Lockheed Martin Executive: Like JADC2, Integrating Experiences Results in Collective Strength
A Lockheed Martin executive shared her insights on the parallels between the Joint All Domain Command and Control’s goal and her efforts to bring transformative changes in the defense sector.
In a blog post, Erika Marshall, vice president for C4ISR at the rotary and mission systems unit and a 4×24 member, wrote that JADC2’s vision of unity and integration shares similarities with her goal of transforming the culture within the defense industry.
As JADC2 brings coherence to a diverse system and platform, she is working to integrate differing perspectives and experiences within the workforce to improve collective strength, creativity and efficiency, Marshall added in the blog post that Lockheed Martin published.
Marshall is affiliated with the company’s Black Excellence Council and the Women’s Impact Network business resource group, allowing her to mentor African-American professionals in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors.
She assumed her current position in January 2024 after serving in multiple leadership roles at Lockheed Martin. She recently worked as vice president of business development before her promotion. She was also program director and general manager of the contractor’s Manned Combat Submersibles and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles portfolio and engineering manager and capture operations lead official for the Japan F-35 program.
