Lonnie Price, Cyber and Information Warfare Vice President at Peraton
Lonnie Price is a Potomac Officers Club member and is the vice president of cyber and information warfare at technology company Peraton. He has been holding his current leadership role since June 2021.
Price oversees Peraton’s cyber and information warfare strategy and is responsible for the development of advanced solutions for clients in the national security, federal civilian, military, law enforcement and the Intelligence Community sectors.
Before assuming his leadership role at Peraton, he handled various positions at the Department of State. Price was the deputy assistant secretary of the cyber and technology security directorate, the director of the Office of Security Technology and the regional director for security engineering, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He joined the government agency in 1987 and stayed there until 2021.
The industry veteran started his career in 1983 as a programmer at NASA’s Shuttle Mission Planning Office. He held that position until August 1986.
Price holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is also recognized by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium as a certified IS security professional.
Peraton offers cyber, digital, cloud and engineering services to various clients, including those in the defense, intelligence, homeland security and space sectors. It is headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, and has multiple offices across the U.S.
