Luke Murry, Head of Government Affairs at Marvell Technology
Luke Murry is the head of government affairs at Marvell Technology, a Santa Clara, California-based semiconductor manufacturer whose products are used for automotives, data processing units, ethernet technologies and storage devices.
A member of the Potomac Officers Club, he is also an adjunct assistant professor at the Center for Security Studies within Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. CSS offers a multidisciplinary program aimed at teaching core security issues.
Murry has been a term member at the Council of Foreign Relations since 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile. CFR is a foreign policy think tank based in New York aimed at raising the understanding of international affairs across various sectors and the public.
Before joining Marvell, Murry was part of the U.S. House of Representatives for more than a decade. Murry most recently served two stints as national security adviser for Rep. Kevin McCarthy during the latter’s tenures as minority and majority leader.
From 2013 to 2017, he was a staff director involved with the House Foreign Affairs Committee‘s Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade Subcommittee.
Earlier, Murry was a legislative assistant within the House.
He earned a master’s degree in security studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California in Los Angeles.
