Mahesh Kalva serves as the president and chief technology officer at AmeriinfoVets, an Indian small business economic enterprise and service-disabled veteran-owned small business that provides strategic information technology solutions and services. He joined the company in 2017, bringing over 25 years of experience in leadership, innovation, strategy and business development.
Kalva, a Potomac Officers Club member, is also an advisory board member of Safely2Prosperity, an innovator of technology solutions for health care and infectious disease risk management, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Before joining AI-Vets, the executive was a senior vice president and CTO at Leidos’ health division where he managed research and development efforts, developed core competencies, expanded science and technical capabilities and provided thought leadership and strategic direction for new business ventures.
His two-decade career also includes time serving at Lockheed Martin as science and engineering head, CTO and director of engineering for enterprise IT and data solutions.
Prior to Lockheed, Kalva was a senior director at Aspen Systems where he was responsible for implementing the company’s business process outsourcing practice and leading the establishment of Aspen’s Indianapolis and Albuquerque contact centers.
Kalva holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Osmania University and a master’s degree in computer information systems from Southern New Hampshire University.
