Marcos Salganicoff, Director at KPMG US

Marcos Salganicoff is the director of health care, life science artificial intelligence and advanced analytics at auditing firm KPMG US. He has been with the organization since November 2016.

Salganicoff has over 20 years of experience in supporting health care and life science companies. At KPMG, he oversees the definition and implementation of AI, advanced analytics and simulation-based strategies and solutions, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He was the director and head of innovation at Siemens Healthineers before joining KPMG. The industry veteran handled multiple directorship roles at Siemens for over 12 years.

Salagnicoff has invented or co-invented over 25 patents and authored more than 30 scientific publications in ML, analytics and imaging. He is also knowledgeable in intellectual property portfolio management, business and technology issues and numerous data languages, including Python and C++.

He holds a doctorate and master’s degree in computer and information science from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
