Mattermost, Parabol Partner to Enhance AI-Driven Workflows for National Security Operations

Mattermost has teamed up with Parabol to improve artificial intelligence integration within Agile project management tools for government agencies and critical infrastructure organizations.

The new plugin leverages Parabol Agile Meetings and Atlassian Jira alongside Mattermost’s secure, customizable collaboration platform and Microsoft’s Azure AI’s data privacy features, Mattermost said.

Catering to specific tactical, operational and mission-critical needs, the plugin is designed to provide a secure and adaptable AI-powered platform that functions seamlessly across various cloud environments. Through the two companies’ strategic integration, teams can streamline communication, incident response and DevSecOps workflows within highly secure settings, fostering more focused, adaptable and resilient Agile workflows.

According to Mattermost, the solution offers key benefits such as real-time communication through the company’s secure messaging, seamless integration with Jira for efficient project management and improved incident response capabilities.

Additionally, Parabol’s analytical tools allow for post-incident reviews and better sprint planning, facilitating continuous operations within Mattermost’s communication channels.

Ian Tien, Mattermost’s CEO and a 4×24 member, stressed that by harnessing the strengths of Atlassian’s Jira, Parabol and Microsoft’s Azure AI, they are breaking new ground in Agile workflows, which he said are indispensable for modern national security operations.

The integration is expected to be available by summer 2024.
