Michael Rogers Added to Duality Technologies Board of Advisers
Duality Technologies has added retired Adm. Michael Rogers, a Wash100 winner and a speaker at the Potomac Officers Club’s 5th Annual Cybersecurity Summit in 2018, to its board of advisers.
Rogers will work with Duality to expedite data collaboration and privacy-preserving technologies and support efforts to protect the financial, health care and national security sectors. He will also work with Duality’s team, which has decades of experience in developing and deploying data and privacy management technologies.
Rogers served in multiple cybersecurity leadership positions throughout his career. He was the former commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, the former director of the National Security Agency and the former chief of the Central Security Service, Duality Technologies said.
Rogers will also work with Duality’s teams to educate government regulators and standards bodies on the need to create strong privacy technologies for citizens and the government.
Rogers said Duality’s work ensures that organizations in the private and public sectors can collaborate on their sensitive data. He also noted that technologies must support trust, safety and security amid data expansion and the widening use of new technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Duality’s technologies are powered by OpehFHE, an open-source Fully Homomorphic Encryption library that was developed in partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and other research and development organizations. OpenFHE allows users to create application programming interfaces more simply and enable modularity, cross-platform support and hardware accelerator integration.
