MicroTech, Agile Defense Win USAFE Task for Network Control Center Services

The U.S. Air Force Europe has awarded MicroTech and Agile Defense a $43M task order for network control center services. The companies are expected to provide technology solutions, including infrastructure services, systems integration and unified communications, in support of major command and communications squadrons within the Air Force.

Work for the NCCS task is also aimed at helping USAFE prepare airmen to provide cyberspace mission assurance to warfighters in joint and combined environments, MicroTech said Tuesday.

Overall, the NCCS task calls for plan development and program support, client systems, cyber transport and cyber operations support.

Tony Jimenez, chief executive officer of MicroTech, attributed the companies’ selection for the task to MicroTech’s commitment to delivering outstanding work products and structured quality management methodologies.
