Navy Awards $172M Contract Modification to Northrop
The U.S Navy has exercised an option in a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm-target contract to Northrop Grumman. The $172M modification is for the production and delivery of two MQ-4 Triton unmanned air systems for the Navy, one Navy main operating base, trade studies, and associated technical and administrative data. Work on the effort will be performed in several locations within and outside the continental U.S. and is expected to be completed in January 2024, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
