Navy Awards $78M IT Contract to Sabre Systems
The Navy has awarded Sabre Systems a $77.73M enterprise information technology services contract in support of the Naval Air Systems Command Digital Group. Work will be done in Patuxent River, Maryland, and is expected to be finished by May 2025. Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Sabre shall provide digital transformation planning and execution, enterprise alignment, technology exploration, acceleration and integration, among many other tasks, the Department of Defense announced Monday. Sabre beat out two other bidders whose proposals were electronically received. Funds will be obligated upon the issuance of individual offers. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Patuxent River is the contracting activity.
