Aalyria Demonstrates Spacetime Platform for Hybrid Space Architecture, CJADC2

Aalyria has completed a demonstration of its Spacetime network orchestration software platform, enabling two technologies—the Hybrid Space Architecture and the Combined Joint All-domain Command and Control Concept—for civilian and defense applications.

Held in the U.S. Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C., and made possible through a collaboration with the Defense Innovation Unit and other partners, the demonstration is part of an effort to create mesh networks offering secure, resilient and low-latency data communications networks.

Spacetime is capable of making predictive, intelligent decisions as to how a network should be composed to meet mission requirements, Aalyria said.

CEO and founder Chris Taylor said the demonstration marks a significant achievement, as it is the first time that hybrid space architecture and CJADC2 capabilities have been demonstrated in all domains and orbits.

The global advanced networking and laser communications technology firm has been supporting the U.S. government in expanding its capabilities in space. Its Spacetime platform, alongside the Fight Tonight program and the Allied Exchange Environment project, was selected by the Space Force in November 2023 to drive innovation in space.
