Accrete Secures US Army Contract to Boost Argus Social’s Capabilities
Accrete AI has secured a multi-million dollar contract with the U.S. Army to enhance the capabilities of Argus Social for information operations.
Accrete’s Argus Social uses proprietary artificial intelligence technology called AI Knowledge Engines. Intelligence analysts’ workflows are streamlined by integrating their existing domain knowledge with unstructured social media data and automatically organizing and analyzing the collected information to meet user-defined requirements, Accrete said.
With its capability to perform at a “superhuman scale,” Argus Social aims to empower analysts to make faster and more informed decisions.
Accrete said the contract marks a milestone for the company as it represents the endorsement of Argus Social by a third U.S. government agency. The tool is currently being developed within the U.S. Special Operations Command and has been validated by the Department of Defense’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office.
Bill Wall, Accrete’s Head of federal sales, highlighted its dedication to providing the DOD information operations community with state-of-the-art AI tools to uncover and utilize critical insights and ultimately achieve a competitive edge.
To highlight Argus Social’s urgency and relevance, Accrete CEO Prashant Bhuyan warned of the growing threat posed by synthetic media and its misuse by malicious actors. He emphasized that the spread of misinformation and the manipulation of social media can significantly hinder analysts’ ability to discern the truth.
