Actelis Networks Secures U.S. Military Orders for Cyber-Hardened Technology

Actelis Networks has secured new orders to equip three U.S. military bases with its cyber-hardened networking technology.

The company’s hybrid-fiber networking solution is designed to expedite base modernization initiatives for the U.S. military, Actelis said.

It offers rapid deployment of fiber-grade connectivity to critical internet-of-things devices and systems without extensive construction, potentially saving months of project time and substantial costs for military bases.

The solution, which Actelis claims to be the only one of its kind on the Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List, features advanced data protection such as 256-bit encryption and data fragmentation, safeguarding critical military networks, particularly at the vulnerable edge where IoT devices are connected.

The orders follow recent milestones by Actelis in obtaining key cybersecurity certifications, including placement on the DoDIN APL and the Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology certification for the FIPS 140-2 cryptographic standard.
