Agile-Bot II Wins $162M Contract to Migrate AMC C2 Systems to Cloud
The U.S. Air Force’s Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has awarded Agile-Bot II a potential five-year, $162 million contract to support the migration and integration of the command and control systems of Air Mobility Command into a Department of Defense or commercial cloud environment.
Agile-Bot II is Agile Defense’s joint venture with BuddoBot.
Other services to be provided under the contract include advanced systems engineering; service lifecycle management; system, network and database administration; configuration and asset management; and information assurance support, Agile Defense said.
AMC’s C2 systems enable the rapid transport of personnel and delivery of capabilities and other needs to U.S. troops and allied forces around the world to sustain their critical operation. Over 20,000 individuals use the C2 systems.
“This award demonstrates how industry is forging partnerships to shape holistic end-to-end IT infrastructure management and solutions to sustain the warfighter’s critical operations,” Agile Defense CEO Rick Wagner said.
