Airship AI Awarded DOJ Contract for Video, Sensor Data Management

Airship AI Holdings said an agency within the Department of Justice has awarded the company a contract to provide an artificial intelligence-enabled video and sensor data management platform.

The agency will deploy the Acropolis Enterprise Sensor Management platform in a cloud environment that complies with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s security requirements. Acropolis will enable the agency to manage devices and sensors in its digital ecosystem, directly through the cloud or the Outpost AI Edge Appliance, Airship AI said.

The company’s Outpost AI product, built on the NVIDIA Jetson platform, offers the capability to perform advanced analytics processing at the edge and video and metadata encoding and encryption.

According to Paul Allen, president of Airship AI, the Acropolis platform’s deployment supports the expansion of a pilot program implemented in 2023, marking the second time a government agency used Acropolis in a FedRAMP-certified cloud environment.

Allen said the company is committed to driving digital transformation for government customers worldwide through the latest AI and sensor management capabilities.
