Alpha Omega, Dynamo to Support USFS Contracting, Data Management
Alpha Omega Integration and Dynamo Technologies have been awarded a contract to improve the U.S. Forest Service Procurement and Property Services’ contracting and data management process.
USFS is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture that administers the 193 million acres of national forests and grasslands. The agency performs more than 32,000 contract actions each year, Alpha Omega said.
The $3.3 million contract will help maintain data feeds and interfaces, automate business processes, maintain applications and reporting tools and maintain intranet and internet sites.
The partners said they will take advantage of agile software development, DevSecOps and robotic process automation expertise to fulfill the agency’s requirements.
“The Dynamo-Alpha Omega Team is further assisting USFS in realizing operational efficiencies, cost savings, and the benefits that come with successful technology modernization efforts,” said Vivek Taneja, president of Dynamo Technologies.
Dynamo is a federal government contractor that specializes in digital transformation services. The company has supported missions in the defense, diplomacy, environmental, financial and law enforcement markets.
Gautam Ljoor, president and CEO of Alpha Omega, said the companies will develop applications and improve infrastructure to help the USFS’s growing workloads and information management requirements.
Alpha Omega is a certified 8(a) small business that provides collaborative information technology and business consulting services for customers in the commercial and public sectors.
The company said it has served customers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Atmospheric Administration, Small Business Administration, NASA, Census Bureau and the departments of Health and Human Services, Defense, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, State and Commerce.
