ASRC Federal Subsidiary Wins $75M NASA SpectRE Contract

Agile Decision Sciences, an ASRC Federal subsidiary, has secured the $74.8 million Spectrum and Resource Management, Engineering and Programmatic Support Services contract from NASA.

Under the terms of the SpectRE contract, ADS will provide a wide range of services to support NASA’s Space Communication and Navigation division, which operates within the space agency’s Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate.

Services outlined in the contract include spectrum engineering, regulatory management, radio frequency interference and system engineering analysis, budget formulation and execution, risk and schedule analysis, information and network security development and assessment, public engagement, website maintenance and operations and application development, ASRC Federal said Thursday.

The contract also calls for professional services in support of NASA’s human exploration and operations and space technology mission directorates as well as technical support for the agency’s field centers.

Contract work is expected to be completed by March 2026.

Speaking about the award, ASRC Federal President and CEO Jennifer Felix, a member of the Potomac Officers Club and 2021 Wash100 winner, welcomed the opportunity to advance NASA’s space exploration and communications capabilities.

ASRC Federal has secured several other contracts with NASA over the past couple of months.

In January, ADS secured the $212 million NASA Research and Education Support Services-II contract. The five-year contract requires the ASRC Federal subsidiary to provide professional services and information technology support to strengthen NASA’s peer review life cycle and the research objectives of the agency’s directorates.

Late last year, ASRC Federal received the $86.4 million Research Facilities and Engineering Support Services contract from NASA. The purpose of the contract was to support the Mission Support Directorate at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California.
