Axonius Asset Management Platform Secures FedRAMP ‘In Process’ Designation

Cybersecurity asset management company Axonius’ government-facing subsidiary announced that its platform has attained the “In Process” status from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.

FedRAMP grants “In Process” designations to partners committed to offering the federal government secure cloud services, Axonius said.

The designation indicates that a vendor has met certain criteria on the way to full FedRAMP authorization.

Tom Kennedy, Axonius Federal Systems’ vice president, explained that the designation allows agencies to more easily utilize his company’s platform to reduce information technology complexity and set a zero trust architecture foundation.

Axonius said its platform is a cloud-based software-as-a-service solution for managing assets and optimizing IT operations. Over 40 federal agencies have deployed the platform to meet requirements, such as the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Binding Operational Directive 23-01, the company added.

The Axonius Platform is part of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program‘s Approved Product List and can be accessed through the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative contract vehicle.
