BMC Helix Secures Impact Level 5 Authorization on AWS GovCloud

BMC announced that it has received provisional authorization for Impact Level 5 from the Defense Information Systems Agency for Helix, the company’s information technology operations management solution.

With the authorization, BMC can now offer DOD customers enhanced observability of complex hybrid cloud services, integration of third-party observability data, improved service health monitoring and artificial intelligence-powered alert management capabilities, BMC said.

Moreover, the IL-5 certification also gives clients access to BMC Helix’s comprehensive suite of service and operations management capabilities, including real-time incident correlation, proactive problem identification, automated task management and customizable dashboards, according to the company.

David Sims, vice president of BMC’s U.S. public sector unit, said the company is committed to helping customers achieve greater operational efficiency, highlighting Helix’s potential to empower its partners in supporting the DOD.

DOD customers can now use BMC Helix on Amazon Web Services GovCloud.
