C3 AI Announces FedRAMP Ready Status for Enterprise AI Platform

C3 AI, an enterprise software developer, announced that its enterprise artificial intelligence platform has earned the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Ready status.

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to evaluating the security of cloud-based products and services.

C3 AI said that FedRAMP allows agencies to quickly modernize and strengthen the security of their information technology infrastructure through the benefits of cloud technology.

A FedRAMP Ready status will make it easier for government agencies to approve and implement the C3 AI Suite, a tool designed to reduce the complexity of developing enterprise AI applications, C3 AI said Thursday.

The company added that the C3 AI Suite is supported by Project Hosts, a company that offers cloud compliance as a service, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

“As machine learning and AI drives innovation and change in the federal sector, partnerships with industry leaders like C3 AI are critical,” Project Hosts CEO Scott Chapman said Thursday.

Ed Abbo, president and chief technology officer of C3 AI, said that his company prioritized FedRAMP authorization to better protect its clients from cyber threats.

Headquartered in Redwood City, California, C3 AI delivers software products and applications designed to support digital transformation.

In late 2021, the company was awarded a production other transaction agreement to support the Missile Defense Agency‘s development of enterprise AI.

The OTA specifically called for support for modeling and simulation initiatives that use AI-based and physics-driven validation methods.
