CACI International Books Task Order to Gather Medical Intelligence for DIA

CACI International has announced a five-year task order to deliver expertise to the Defense Intelligence Agency’s National Center for Medical Intelligence.

Awarded under the Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, the task aims to protect the United States’ interests worldwide by gathering medical intelligence on foreign health threats and related issues, CACI said.

NCMI analyzes biotechnology developments, environmental health risks, foreign medical capabilities, infectious diseases and similar threats and supports force protection efforts.

CACI President and CEO John Mengucci, a 2023 Wash100 winner, said his company’s experts will strengthen the DIA’s ability to extract insights from data and meet analysis goals.

The company is one of 16 vendors awarded positions on the SIA III IDIQ vehicle, which has a cumulative value of $17.1 billion. Aside from intelligence support, the DIA can use the contract to acquire analysis support and scientific and engineering research services.
