CACI Awarded Potential $1.3B Military Contract to Support Europe, Africa Commands

The Department of Defense has awarded CACI International a contract valued at up to $1.3 billion to provide communications and information technology expertise to the U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command over the next five years, CACI said.

Under the contract, CACI will modernize critical IT infrastructure, optimize networks and provide support to over 11,000 personnel across 60 locations.

The company will also implement cloud-based solutions, edge computing, advanced cybersecurity measures and integration with Joint All Domain Command and Control systems.

The contract extends CACI’s existing relationship with USEUCOM and USAFRICOM, which has involved delivering IT solutions to support the commands’ global, multi-domain operations.

John Mengucci, CACI president and CEO, and a 2024 Wash100 awardee, said the company’s proven IT experience and advanced solutions will enhance the commands’ ability to respond rapidly to crises and collaborate with allies.
