CACI to Modernize Army Networks Under Potential $239M ENCORE III Task Order

The U.S. Army has awarded CACI International a potential five-year, $239 million task order for network modernization services.

CACI will modernize the Army’s Global Secret Internet Protocol Router network and apply commercial solutions for classified technologies, giving warfighters secure and mobile network accessibility. The company will use the Archon solution, acquired through ID Technologies, to allow commercial devices to connect to classified military networks for sensitive data transfers and access.

John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI and a 2024 Wash100 awardee, said the company’s solutions ensure that the Army can keep up with growing data demands and allow users to do their work securely.

The task order, one of several CACI has secured from the Army since the start of 2024, was awarded under the ENCORE III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, CACI said.

In February, the company won a potential five-year, $198 million task order to support the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s C5ISR Center. The company was tasked with designing and fielding solutions to defeat emerging threats to tactical edge and enterprise systems and support the C5ISR Center’s cryptography and network protection programs.

In January, CACI secured a potential five-year, $526 million task order to deliver network modernization support services to the Army Program Executive Office Command Control Communications-Tactical.
