CACI Wins $55M Contract to Support Modernization Efforts at Army Futures Command

CACI International has won a $54.6 million contract to support the Assured Positioning, Navigation, Timing and Space Cross Functional Team for the U.S. Army Futures Command, headquartered at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The APNT/Space CFT aims to advance Army modernization goals and national security requirements by conducting research and development, toward which CACI will assist in locating cost-effective opportunities. According to CEO John Mengucci, a 2022 Wash100 awardee, the company will offer mission guidance and innovation to the APNT team.

The contract was awarded by the U.S. Air Force under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center multiple-award contract vehicle, CACI said.

Recent contract wins by CACI include a $123 million task order to support defense health readiness programs by Naval Warfare Surface Center Atlantic. Earlier in September, the Air Force awarded a $5.7 billion blanket purchase agreement to an industry team led by CACI NSS to provide service desk support for the service’s Enterprise Information Technology-as-a-Service initiative.

CACI is part of a team with Nokia Bell Labs, Network Centric Solutions and Phoel Technology Solutions working under a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency program to develop a secure communications capability for warfighters in combat.
