Carahsoft, Granicus Partner to Support CMS Web Services
Granicus will work to provide the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Office of Communications with software services and solutions in support of CMS .gov, HealthCare .gov, Medicare .gov and Medicaid .gov.
Granicus will serve as the subcontractor on a $49 million contract the CMS awarded to Carahsoft Technology. The latest award builds on a 10-year partnership between Granicus and the CMS involving the delivery of communications strategies and technologies that help educate and encourage the public to enroll in government health care programs.
Granicus CEO Mark Hynes said the work under the contract aims to ensure the public can easily access government services during impactful life events. He noted that the long-term collaboration with the CMS created sophisticated public engagement programs that use modern experience technologies and data science to help inform, qualify and guide individuals enrolling in government health programs.
The company works with more than 6,000 public sector entities to offer advanced technologies and services that promote enhanced digital engagement, personalization and public trust. Granicus is now providing support to multiple states to implement Medicaid unwinding enrollment changes, resulting in higher levels of efficacy, Carahsoft said.
