Carahsoft Offers Twilio’s Communications Tools Through GSA IT Contract Vehicle
Twilio, a maker of programmable communication tools, has expanded its distribution agreement with Carahsoft Technology.
As part of their partnership, Carahsoft will make Twilio’s secure communications offerings available through its General Services Administration-Information Technology Schedule 70 contract. The collaboration will increase the solutions’ availability to the public sector, Twilio said Thursday.
Twilio said that its digital engagement solutions are currently used in the government, helping agencies reach citizens using their preferred communications channels.
The company added that its platform uses emerging technology to ensure that citizens always have access to critical government services.
Bethany Blackwell, sales director at Carahsoft, said Twilio’s solutions will allow Carahsoft’s reseller partners to provide tools for improving control communication workflows and enhancing the citizen experience.
“We are excited to add Twilio to our GSA Schedule and continue to offer top level solutions to the public sector,” Blackwell added.
Debbie Wishart, Twilio’s vice president for the North American public sector, said that access to Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule 70 contract aligns with Twilio’s commitment to helping government agencies modernize their tools.
Twilio’s communications solutions are also available on other Carahsoft contracts, including the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint and the national Cooperative Purchasing Alliance.
Carahsoft is an aggregator and reseller of information technology offerings for the government. The company works with developers of solutions in cybersecurity, cloud, software development, data artificial intelligence and other technology areas.
