Quantum-resilient measures
Carahsoft, QuintessenceLabs Partner to Offer Quantum-Safe Cybersecurity Solutions to Government Agencies
Carahsoft will serve as QuintessenceLabs’ public sector distributor in a new partnership aimed at strengthening government agencies’ cybersecurity posture.
The partnership is a response to the evolving threat landscape, including the ones potentially caused by quantum computers, Carahsoft said.
To address such emerging threats, QuintessenceLabs helps agencies build adaptable cybersecurity infrastructure, protecting sensitive data across various IT environments from quantum-enabled attacks.
The company’s offerings include quantum-resilient solutions for critical areas such as random number generation, encryption key management and secure communication via quantum key distribution.
Vikram Sharma, QuintessenceLabs’ founder and CEO, highlighted the partnership’s urgency and cited the growing threat of “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks, where encrypted data is stolen for future decryption with quantum computing capabilities.
Government agencies can now access QuintessenceLabs’ quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions through Carahsoft’s network of resellers and purchasing contracts, including NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2.
