Carahsoft to Distribute CrashPlan’s Data Backup Solutions to Public Sector

Information technology solutions reseller Carahsoft Technology has announced that it will distribute CrashPlan’s endpoint data backup and recovery software-as-a-service solutions to the public sector and higher-education organizations as part of a new partnership.

CrashPlan’s file backup capabilities facilitate organizational resilience and provide an option to address ransomware attacks, breaches and data migration challenges, Carahsoft said.

The company said users will gain access to features such as automatic and continuous protection, unlimited storage, 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard protection and customizable file retention.

Traci LeDuc, CrashPlan’s vice president of sales and channel, said her company’s solutions enable customers to confidently operate amid cyber risks and everyday challenges such as device migration and system updates. She added that the partnership will “add a critical layer of modern data resiliency” to government agencies.

Organizations can access CrashPlan’s offerings through Carahsoft reseller partners and contract vehicles such as National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint.
