Carahsoft to Expand Government Access to Axonius Cyber Asset Management Platform

Carahsoft Technology will distribute Axonius Federal Systems’ cybersecurity asset management platform to the public sector through reseller partners and contract vehicles such as NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2.

Tom Kennedy, vice president of Axonius’ federal wing, said agencies can use the platform to obtain an accurate inventory and asset observability in on-premises and cloud environments. He explained that meeting zero trust and Binding Operational Directive 23-01 requirements depends on having an updated asset inventory.

According to Carahsoft, Axonius’ platform contains automated asset discovery and vulnerability catalog capabilities that can help government organizations understand the total cyber asset attack surface. The offering can also identify users and devices without security controls and discover servers and cloud instances not properly scanned, Carahsoft said Friday.

In March, Axonius’ platform obtained Department of Defense approval for use. The offering was cleared in the prototype phase by the Defense Innovation Unit and in the production pilot phase by the Defense Information Systems Agency.
