Carahsoft to Distribute OffSec’s Cybersecurity Training Platform to Government Sector

Carahsoft Technology announced on Tuesday that it will distribute OffSec’s cybersecurity workforce development and learning platform to government agencies through its reseller partners and contract vehicles, such as the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance.

According to Carahsoft, the New York-based OffSec provides virtual, practical and hands-on cybersecurity training, which enables a proactive approach to cyber vulnerabilities and rapid response to cyberattacks. Cybersecurity practitioners using Offsec’s training platform will be immersed in real-time, controlled digital simulations that require them to defend against cyberattacks, Carahsoft said.

Public sector users of Offsec’s platform will also have access to the OffSec Learning Library with content, videos and exercises designed to help organizations and agencies comply with the National Cybersecurity Strategy, Carahsoft added.

Sean Donnelly, OffSec’s Channel and Partnerships head, said Carahsoft provides a strategic alliance that will enable OffSec to deliver to the government sector a “robust library of cybersecurity training content.”

According to Michael Shrader, Carahsoft vice president of Intelligence and Innovative Solutions, OffSec brings to Carahsoft’s market portfolio cybersecurity training programs addressing “some of the most pressing and relevant cybersecurity concerns of the time.”
