CGI Federal Adds Asset Management Tool to Treasury Department Marketplace
CGI Federal has announced the availability of its cloud-based asset management offering, Sunflower, on the Department of Treasury’s Financial Management Quality Service Management Office marketplace.
The software-as-a-service solution, which received the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program authorization in January, is designed to enhance the management of personal and real property for federal agencies, CGI said.
Today, Sunflower supports millions of assets across more than 75 federal agencies and offers features for improved compliance, streamlined processes and data-driven insights, according to the company.
CGI also said the solution supports the Federal Integrated Business Framework’s asset management functions and can integrate with approved Core Financial Management systems.
John Owens II, CGI senior vice president, highlighted that Sunflower meets the highest quality, compliance and security standards, offering benefits for federal leaders.
Sunflower’s listing in the marketplace strengthens CGI’s role in helping agencies modernize their financial systems and processes, he added.
The FM QSMO Marketplace is a one-stop shop for government agencies seeking commercial and federal solutions for various financial management needs, including core financial systems, financial services and Treasury-centralized services.
