CGI Federal Replaces T4NG2 IT Services Contract Awardee

CGI Federal has secured the spot previously held by Sierra7 in the potential 10-year, $60.7 billion Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation 2 contract vehicle.

The Department of Veteran Affairs selected 30 companies in October 2023 to provide information technology solutions and services under the T4NG2 IT contract. Half of the awards were set aside for small businesses which, at the time, included Sierra7.

The VA, however, posted a notice on SAM .gov canceling the award to Sierra7, citing the Small Business Administration’s determination that the company is no longer under the small business category, Washington Technology reported.

According to the notice, CGI Federal is the next highest-rated offeror, making it eligible to receive the award.

The T4NG2 IT contract covers the acquisition of program management, enterprise architecture, software development, enterprise network services, cybersecurity and training, among other IT services.

Monica Winthrop, senior vice president at CGI, expressed excitement about the opportunity to deliver business transformation capabilities to support veterans, caregivers and surviving spouses and children of wartime veterans.
