CGI Secures STRATCOM Contract to Support Global Data Integration Program

CGI’s United States-based federal subsidiary has received a five-year U.S. Strategic Command contract to develop and maintain hardware and software within the Global Data Integration environment.

A component of the Department of Defense’s Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiative, GDI aims to integrate multiple domains to enhance global situational awareness and decision-making, CGI said Wednesday.

The company is expected to perform the work at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

CGI Federal’s president, Stephanie Mango, said her company will work with STRATCOM to support critical defense capabilities and the DOD’s information technology strategy.

Horace Blackman, senior vice president of defense and intelligence and space business unit lead at CGI, affirmed his company’s commitment to supporting customers’ national security objectives. STRATCOM’s mission requires proven solutions and a data-driven approach, he added.

In July, the company secured a $49.7 million contract to deliver research and development and sustainment support for STRATCOM’s Global Integration Enterprise.
