Changeis to Enhance Air Traffic Management Under $103M FAA Contract

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded Changeis a $103 million contract to deliver technical analysis and management support to the Air Traffic Organization.

The ATO Technical Analysis and Program Support II contract entails a comprehensive suite of managerial and administrative services, including program analysis, data analytics and strategic support, Changeis said.

Under the contract, Changeis will also offer its expertise to various ATO directorates, including Air Traffic Services, Management Services, Mission Support Services, Program Management Organization, Safety and Technical Training and System Operations Services.

Specifically, Changeis will support aviation software systems, analyze air traffic data and coordinate U.S. involvement with the International Civil Aviation Organization to maintain global aviation standards.

The management and engineering services provider will also manage GPS testing and interference tracking, support crisis response activities and conduct analyses of aviation events to aid the Joint Air Traffic Operations Command.

The award is also an extension of the company’s longstanding relationship with the FAA. Changeis President Varun Malhot said the company is committed to leveraging its deep understanding of the ATO’s mission, subject matter expertise, and focus on customer success to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System.
