CIA Extends Commercial Cloud Enterprise Contract With Telos

The Central Intelligence Agency has modified its existing Commercial Cloud Enterprise contract with Telos to extend access to the company’s Xacta IT and cyber risk management platform. The modification, valued at $6.7 million, adds 27 months to the contract, split into three option periods.

Xacta is supporting the CIA’s C2E assessment and authorization efforts, including by automating body of evidence generation, vulnerability assessments, business intelligence and data-driven workflow, among other A&A initiatives, Telos said.

In February, the company also secured a five-year follow-on contract from the National Security Agency to extend Xacta 360 and Xacta .io software licenses. Besides license extensions, Telos provides product maintenance and replaces legacy extract, transform, load database warehouses with a Xacta 360 solution.

The company, meanwhile, is working with Lp Resilient Service to deliver a prototype supply chain risk management solution using Xacta. LpRS won a Small Business Technology Transfer Phase II contract through the AFWERX program.

The Xacta product suite offers automation solutions for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Risk Management Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FedRAMP security requirements and ISO 27001 information security management standard, Telos said.
