CISA-Organized Cybersecurity Collective Adds Ivanti to Roster

Remote work company Ivanti has joined the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative, a group of public and private sector organizations that coordinates cyber defense planning, information sharing and the development of best practices to minimize risks to the United States’ key infrastructure and functions.

Formed and organized by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the JCDC also works with outside entities on issues that require specific expertise.

Srinivas Mukkamala, chief product officer, emphasized the importance of public-private collaboration to the U.S. security posture, Ivanti said. According to Mukkamala, his organization’s membership in the JCDC will enable better cyber preparation for government and commercial organizations.

In May, the collaborative partnered with Boston-based software company N-able to strengthen information and resource sharing for managed service providers. Dave McKinnon, the company’s chief security officer, said the aim is to produce guidelines for securing products and the MSP sector.

A recent addition to the JCDC is Proofpoint, which is expected to provide threat insights and network telemetry capabilities.
