CMMC-AB Welcomes New Training Head
Melanie Kyle Gingrich has been named the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body’s new vice president of training and development.
She will take over the duties of CMMC-AB training head from Ben Tchoubineh, who has been in charge of the organization’s training efforts since 2019, FCW reported.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Gingrich has prior experience serving as the senior director for government products at Monster Worldwide and VP for information technology and certification at Skillsoft.
She also worked at Honeywell Security and Fire as a senior marketing manager for software-as-a-service solutions. In that role, she led the execution of product development, marketing and sales strategies for the cloud solutions group.
Gingrich previously worked for CypherPath as well. As learning innovation VP, she played a key role in developing and delivering learning content and delivery technologies to customers.
Earlier in her career, she held director-level positions at the Computing Technology Industry Association. While at CompTIA, she focused on learning operations and product management.
CMMC-AB’s Chief Executive Officer Matthew Travis believes that Gingrich would have an immediate impact as the organization’s new training chief.
In a statement, Travis touted her experience in developing and providing online training, as well as her acute understanding of service delivery models.
In addition to bringing in Gingrich as its new training lead, CMMC-AB also beefed up its board of directors.
The new additions to the board are Mathew Newfield, Unisys’ chief security and infrastructure officer, and Clifton Poole, Unison’s director for corporate security.
